About The Author
My name is Berkley Steele. Since my teenage years I have been captured by the message of Revelation. I have read many books on the subject, both conservative and not so much. My favorite author was the late John Walvord of the Southern Baptist Seminary in Dallas-Fort Worth.
Several years ago, I was impressed to memorize some of the book. Once I started I couldn’t stop. It took me the better part of a year, but I was able to memorize the entire book. But like anything, if you don’t use it you lose it. After a while the memory faded. This cycle happened a couple of times, but each time it was easier to recommit the book to memory. Now I recite the entire book a couple of times a week to keep it fresh in my mine.
I have felt a strong desire to teach and preach the message of Revelation for a long time. Some would call it a ‘calling’. I have managed to teach studies of the book in several Churches in Mississippi, and Louisiana, and have preached messages from book in a few Churches.
I graduated from Auburn University in the Spring of 1964, and was awarded a degree in Engineering. I met and married the lady who is now my wife a couple of years later. The next year later I was ordained to the Deacon’s Ministry in a Baptist Church in Kenner, Louisiana. Over the following years I served as Deacon in a number of churches and was elected as Chairman in a couple of Churches.
We have two sons, David and Daniel, both of whom are ordained ministers. David is a Pastor and Daniel is a Minister of Music. I was ordained to the gospel ministry a accouple of years ago in David’s Church, and Daniel participated.
